William Sturgeon was born on July 15, 2003. William graduated from Potomac Falls High School in June, 2021. He was pursuing an associate degree in political science at Northern Virginia Community College with the goal of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in political science from George Mason University.

 

Despite having worsening heart failure William continued to attend NVCC until December, 2023. He was someone who was for justice and helping anyone who was underprivileged. Because of William’s dedication to helping others a memorial scholarship has been created in his name for those who may need extra help pursuing an educational goal. William died April 1, 2024 succumbing to his illness.
